  1. Are you familiar at all with the historic Addicks United Methodist near the intersection of I-10 and Hwy 6? I am trying to find out some info on this church for a wedding but can't find anything. It's just a small chapel, but exactly what I want. It's hard to find a church for a wedding these days that doesn't want to charge you $1000. Ridiculous...

  2. I worked in the apartment business for a very long time and I hate to say it, but $100 is not too bad for an average one bedroom. I'm paying $160 in mine this month. However, that's not to say I'm any fan of Reliant Energy. They are definetely on my list of businesses to boycott. They really screwed me over a couple years ago. I currently use Green Mountain and find myself saving money. I have heard Direct Energy is even cheaper. You wouldn't think that a penny or two per kilowatt hour would make a big difference, but $20-30 matters to me!

  3. Hi Kevin. I just found your posting and wanted to comment. I agree that those pictures are very strange. I have lived near that area all my life but have never noticed a road there, much less anything that could explain that weird ariel shot. Coming from I-10 is this before or after War Memorial? As far as "blue light cemetery" goes though, I have heard all the stories from relatives about going to see the strange blue lights and the supposed haunting. However, after a little research, I found that the blue lights are actually being emmitted from rocks. "The stones contain Laboradorite which at certain Sun or Moonlight angles causes a blue glow."...or so I read.

I also read that the blue lights come from "fox fire, or swamp gas, which is said to cover this thick forest on occasion.". I would be intersted to know if you ever find out anything on the mysterious circles.
