Wow. That is quite a change. Why sort of incentives and discounts are they giving?

All the builders are giving substantial incentives and price reductions in Telfair Phase II. 3-4 months ago, same builders did not have time to meet us. now they are giving great discounts. What am I missing in this picture? We are looking to buy a house in Telfair.

Does anyone know what the status of the effort to make the train horns quieter on US90? This affects many neighborhoods such as New Territory. I got a flyer from the City of Sugar Land talking about some sort of noise solution and it did get quieter for a few months.

But the train horns are loud again. The horns go off all hours of the night and occasionally wake me up. I am pretty far away. I can't imaging how loud it is for folks closer to the tracks.

You say that, but my wife and I drove through and looked at homes in Telfair Sunday. I can tell you that there seems to be no shortage of buyers just based on the number of homes under construction.

Overpriced is all relative. Being right off 59 is priceless. I bought one of the overpriced homes and my morning drive to work at the BW8 and Westeimer takes about 20 minutes. Driving to First Colony Mall takes about 5 minutes.

From previous experience, it takes 15 minutes alone to get to 59 from some of the more "affordable" neighborhoods...

Where can I find out where the prison grave is? I just put a contract out on a new house...

For buyers that do not know,

there is a prison grave yard on the property as well, therefore beware of your plot purchase. They should be making you aware of this, but you know how that goes...
