  1. Glass Wall was hit for the third time in a month. This time the damage was more extensive. I understand that wind and water gallery, wachovia bank, mcains market and many others also sustained window damage on white linen night. The police have been of no use in pursuing these vandals. The Mayors office and county commissioner have been contacted. I would like to see this kind of activity diminish in the Heights. We would like to be able to offer a great dining experience without people feeling they are coming to a demilitarized zone. Support from the neighborhood has been fantastic and we appreciate our regulars spreading the good word about what we do. We will weather the storm and continue to make the Heights a better place to live.

  2. Shepard... I'm guessing you're the same from Zula downtown?? if so then I definitely will be coming to this place when it opens... you guys did a fantastic job with the food at my wedding in Boaka Bar 3+ years ago...

I am in fact, that same "Shepard". After working as General Manager for 3 1/2 years, Zula was sold to new ownership in September. I left soon after to team up with Chef Lance Fegen on The Glass Wall project in the Heights. Both Lance and I are Heights residents and committed to the community. We look forward to providing an upscale, relaxed, fine dining atmosphere. This project is all about personalized service. We are in the hospitality business, and it will show, trust me. We are looking at opening around mid March. Hope to see you there.

  3. You might want to consider a second opinion. Without knowing much about your situation your Realtor might be telling you the truth which of course you do not want to hear. It is hard to hear that your home is not valued as high as you would value the property. If you hear the same from another broker then you might want to consider what they are telling you. If you are sure the value will go up and you do not need to pull the equity out then leasing might be a great option for you.

Glass Wall Restaurant is slated to open in Mid March. The restaurant itself will be stunning. Use of custom stone and tile will make this a showpiece property for sure. Website construction is underway so stay tuned for more info.

    Good Afternoon,

hope your day goes well !

I am also a Heights resident and love easy commute dining !

What will your menu consist of ?

    Thank You

Lance has always been an advocate of American cuisine. He loves to add influences he gathers while travelling, and you are sure to see many Hawaiian, Costa Rican, and Mediterranean influences on the menu. We are working on the menu, as we speak. We are both excited to bring an innovative, fun, dining environment to our favorite neighborhhod. - Shepard Ross
