A little background for those unfamiliar with this subject: the owners, Hearst, then Hines, have obtained a permit for the demolition of the structure; however, Linbeck, who owns the property north of the building is pushing for a halt, citing contractual conflict. Does anyone have the latest update on this?

Oh, boy! I remember being dragged by my brother to Shake Shack almost daily for about a week when we had one nearby. He was positively hooked on the SmokeShack burger.

It certainly will be helpful to know the routes available as not wanting to get caught in normal traffic is a major reason for not taking the bike out more often.

This building is not only a thing of beauty, in my opinion; it also is a symbol of architectural marvel with regards to functionality. There was certainly nothing humble about the cost it ran, though.
