We just had four companies come out and give us bids and we think we want to do this on own! The house is 1000 sf empty and gutted as in no electrical, no plumbing has about 2 ft clearance. A beam running full length of structure is rotten from water damage-- bad roof. My question is this how many jacks might we need. 10? 20? 40? This is pretty much a very old framed house there is no plaster or dry wall we gutted it. We have gutted and remodeled several houses but not in Texas never knew there was this kind of foundation until moving here.
