Poor, Deluded Billy G. Some Realtor told you that was Lindale Park ! NOT !

I am a native Houstonian born and raised in The Heights. My first garage apartment

was on Beggs in 1967. Bad area then, worse now. Stay away and don't invest any

money there. Go North a bit to Lindale, but even that's iffy street by street.

Be careful of " The North Side ". It can be scary !

The new FBI / GSA building is just off the northeast corner of 43rd & 290.

A better view can be had from Pinemont, just west of the Park & Ride. It has

been a wonder to watch this building go up. I am just a lay person, a true

seeker of unigue building structures. I dare say this will be a very secure

building, Looks to me it just topped out this week. Dobt that it will be

occupied before the end of this year.

Wouldn't it just be a place to sleep?

The food will probably be brought in, or they can all eat the Cici's Pizza for $3.99.

You wanna make these people eat CiCi's after all they've

Any confirmation on making the long vacant JC Penney Store at NW MALL a super shelter

for storm evacuees ? A story on Channell 13 indicated as much on Monday. Since that time,

the story has been pretty much " hushed up ". How can they retrofit that store to provide

plumbing and cooking facilities to over 2000 people ?
