Well, the markings and signs were placed some time after the curb was installed.  

That curb thingy they installed to make a right turn lane (see bottom of bottom picture) is dangerous. when you're driving in the right lane, it comes up suddenly and you have to get over quickly.  Someone is going to ruin the front axle of their car one day. I suspect it creates a bottleneck also.

Their website has said this location is open along with hours for at least three months...I would go by and of course still under construction. I just finally gave up. Glad to see they are finally almost open for real.

Further to the last comment, is there a way to pin the development map at the top or something so that is doesn't get lost in all the comments?

Nice.  However, I've heard complaints from friends living in the high-rise at Montrose & Hawthorne that the light around the roofline is extremely bright and glaring.

Is there a plan view of this?  Just trying to visualize how this wraps around the hotel.  Part of that space appears quite narrow.

Is there any update on this.  The HCTRA is not being transparent at all on this.  They said the project would be on hold for 2 weeks.  Is there a solution? What is it? How much will it cost the taxpayers?  The taxpayers have a right to know.

That one missing piece of glass tubing on the north wall (facing church & Glassell School) has been driving me crazy for weeks!

That flooded garage looks like a health hazard...skeeters and asps. 😜

Are these panels made of glass or plastic?  I'm concerned that if they are plastic / resin type material, they will "yellow" over time and thus become ugly.

This was originally a cafeteria (Jetton's, I believe).  I remember going there as a kid with my dad in the '70s.  A lot of workers at the new Greenway Plaza ate there.

Is there a webcam?

I like how the Bissonnet-facing wall seems to follow the curve of the existing building.

The title of this blog says "Student Junction..."  the signage, etc says "Studemont Junction".  Can somebody update the blog title?
