Does anyone have any memories of the restaurant that used to be here or any other tenants in the past? It is a wonderful building. I am curious as to why it is still vacant.. 

Coffee Shop is being given hell by the city because the ground floor does not have a second point of egress.

I looked up 1311 Lamar and 1311 Caroline on hcad and both came up invalid. Anyone know why? Also, anyone else know what his company name is listed as? Is it RD Investments?

This building is owned by Bejjani & Associates if I remember correctly. It is being leased by RD.

I am currently dealing with a landlord who is quite possibly the most relaxed/old-school individual I have ever had to deal with, who prefers to negotiate verbally and won’t deal in writing because he can’t read well, even though he has some prime real-estate here in Houston specifically on Washington Ave.

Any how a client and I have put an offer down on one of his properties which he has no survey, plans or drawings for. Is there any way to get a survey from the city? Does anyone have experience doing this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

MOD Pizza is taking up the other end cap. I'll be honest, definitely a little more excited to have this concept. This will be their first unit in Texas.

I know it's not the best picture, but I really got a kick out of seeing that the cranes are lit up just like the building perimeters. 

The old Greenway Inn is currently being held by a long term ground lease with a restaurant group.. Can't saw who though. However, there is a Transwestern listing sign and I hear that it may be up for grabs in upwards of $12M. That place really looks rough now that it is not operating. However, it definitely isn't vacant ill tell you that much.
