"Things started to get out of hand in 1933 when a young aviator named Lee Hausinger robbed Frank Fertitta, a member of the Maceo family." Says Hausinger died shortly after that, from a bullet to the heart. source: Galveston, author: Gary Cartwright
Sounds like someone you wouldn't want to mess with.
Im going back tonight to grab the baseball betting board so when I get back ill post some pics

Yeah im really interested in learning about the family. I found the school records to Michael Salvato which includes his diploma, awards, and all kinds of cool stuff. Also found a picture of Joe Salvato eating dinner with Ruth.

Well Im going back tonight and plan on grabbing the big baseball betting boards for my garage. Some call that stealing. I call it perserving history. Last night i found the original lease paper to the actual land. Needless to say I snagged it up.

The whole website was up the other day but for whatever reason they took it down.
Well im not sure if yall are familiar with motocross (dirtbike racing), but Houston is a haven for racing. We have so many tracks here, its awesome. But latley alot of them are closing down. This guy Sean has started building an Indoor Motocross track (I forgot where, but somewhere within Houston) and the place is huge. Most tracks dont have bathrooms, concessions, and all that good stuff. But this place will have bathrooms, bike storage, pro shop,A/C bleachers!, and much much more. With this new track, alot more pros are moving to Houston because of the strong motocross presence and the wide varitey of tracks.
I just thought this would be a cool and inforimng post since this is a huge addition to Houston (at least for the motocross community).
Heres a mp of alot of the tracks in Texas:
Here an awesome website on motocross in Houston:
