It appears a condo building is being constructed on the 800 block of Yale. I'm shocked this project was able to get permitted because of Houston impervious area restrictions for new developments. I believe it's projects like these that exacerbate our flooding problems.

diggity, I am surprised you found this ordinance as it not common knowledge. Apparently, COH Planning Dept. was not aware of this ordinance either.

Thanks for the clarification on MLS. Yes, the minimum lot size is 7366 sqft. Yes, it was disclosed in the title work when I bought the property. I have never had any intentions of subdivided the property. That effort would be pointless since the MLS wouldn't allow that to happen.

JCR, I feel sorry for you.

What do you mean by MLS issue? I though MLS was a realtor term for multible listing service.

JCR, yes your investigative inspector came by on Thursday. It was nice to see him again. We enjoyed a smoke together. Told some stories and he was on his way. Feel free to call him back anytime. I always enjoy his company. Obviously, no fine was issued. Its kind of strange that you are driving by my house though.

Kylejack, I think we are both talking about the same middle section. No, it was not going to have concrete. JCR, which ordinance are you referring too?

Yes, in an attemp to be transparent. I created a member Id of DMR. I was hoping to better understand the concerns of the neighbors but as you can see they have been childish so far. The project was permitted and approved by the City. It was further cleared by legal after initial complaints were found not to have merit. The proposed construction were not townhouses as you can not subdivide the lots. Nothing was hidden. The propery is in the flood plain. The pile of dirt has to do with mitigation and detention required by the city. I am sorry if a pile of dirt offended the people on the street. No were else to put it. It is gone now. The City did find an ordinance that the project was not in compliance with and is being repermitted

So you would rather have a know drug house in your neighborhood adding to crime?

I am surprised this project complied with C.O.H. impervious area requirements. It's projects like these that adversely effect our flooding problems.
