Brought back memories... Globe in Pasadena department store and cafeteria.

Watched my sister stuff jello into the back junction of the booth seat.

Atomic throw up in the ladies room after getting a "shot" in the butt of penicillin.

During a horrible divorce and employment dry spell/job any job to survive I worked at Auchan (1990).

My memories from that time are:

Being called out by a supervisor for not wearing knee high hose at a time when I could not afford them.

Sharing a drink cup from the on store Pizza Hut for free refills.

Yep, the bowling alley in SE Houston was where I spent one summer (1969)trying to learn to bowl. I took in ironing to pay for the league.

Remember the Henke's at the "Y" on Telephone Road?

I remember the building well. I worked for family dental group in the building. The Senior Ruthven was credited for being the first dentist to use a powered dental drill.

In the late 70's the elevators were "manned" and the dental group worked through the lunch hour, lunch was delivered from the building deli. You slid in the tiny break room, took a bite and went back to work. Can't remember ever eating a whole sandwich.
