And there's another bar going in directly north of this. Will be an interesting mix!

All those retirees are gonna break their surgerically replaced hips on that terrible stretch of road 18th from TC Jester (one of the worst intersections in Houston) to Shepard. 19th and 20th are terrible too
The 18th/TC Jester intersection is a complete embarrassment pavement wise and definitely needs a stop light.

Right across from McIntyre's. The retirees can walk across the street and party it up with the youngins.😀

Does this replace David Weekley's below townhome development or is it adjacent?

A different looking building that extends the skyline. I think it'll look great when completed.
That whole area by Market Square is shaping up very nicely.

Please please please happen. I've always thought that nothing will happen here until the 610 construction is completed. It is finally getting close to being finished...so much potential for this site.

Wow. A ton of good news for the North Shepherd/Durham and Shady Acres area. That area is really getting attention from bars, restaurants, shops, etc. Can't blame them. The market is strong in that area. Shepherd/Durham from I-10 to 610 is PRIME for redevelopment.

GREAT picture! Man, I wish the gap between 3 Allen and 1400 Smith would be filled.

Gotta give this development its props, despite it taking a long time to construct. It actually looks nice!

Awesome. Nice hotels and entertainment near campus and Northgate will do incredibly well.

This is a cool building and a cool plan. I hope it comes to fruition.

I think some mixed use would do well here. I definitely could see residential and office complex demand for this location. It is zoned to Sinclair and Black Middle which are fed from Timbergrove, Lazybrook, Garden Oaks, and Oak Forrest.

Definitely a signature tower. This will dominate the skyline when viewing from the north. Love it!

Wow. Excellent progress for the city!

Love how this one looks. Man, will be really fun watching all of these kick off here in the last half of 2014. Wow, so many more residents for downtown.

I think it is a great looking building. I'm very glad it is being built this cycle.
