I'm going to do about a 15 hour time lapse photo shoot of the city, major buildings etc. for a Houston client. I want it to be the best representive of Houston. Traffic movement, etc is good. I'll be firing once every 15-20 seconds, with remote of course. Outside is out of the question because of the elements. Cost for Hotel room with best view is not a problem.

I want to do it from a hotel room and was wondering, in your opinion, which hotel offers the best view of the city?
Thanks,
Chuck

SD port on my computer. It worked great until a few weeks ago. I'm still searching for the little USB cable that connects to my camera, because I've used that successfully in the past.
You can also get a USB card reader at Walmart for 8 bucks or so.

Two trucks showed up today loaded with what appear to be air conditioning units. There's also a very large crane on site lifting them to the roof.
The computer has been restarted about 3 dozen times since this became a problem. I wish that would've solved it.
Are you using a card reader or SD port on computer?
-
I got pictures last night and this morning of the big crawler crane being erected, but I still can't get my computer to recognize my memory card so I can't upload them. They are most definitely dismantling the taller crane.
Restart your computer. That should fix it.

Here's the site plan:
As swtsig said, it calls for 6 towers total: 3 residential, 1 hotel, 2 office.
Whoa!!! Whole Foods!

It's 100% still open, with people getting their McRibs and McFlurry's as we speak...

I am also greatful that Hakeem is preserving this building and the First National Bank building downtown as well. Short of a wrecking ball nothing is worse for an historic building than for it to sit empty. It also appears that he has done nothing that is not reversible. Kudos for that as well.
Filio, are you remembering the commercial for the voice recognition device where Hakeem says something to the effect of, "if it can recognize what I say it can work for anybody?"
Atta boy Dream!!

It's going up on the McDonald's site down the street from BLVD Place (here: http://goo.gl/maps/sElzl). There is a pre-sale trailer that has been in the parking lot for a few months now, and the McDonald's is scheduled to be demolished in January last I heard.
Excellent. Any pics of the Mickey D's getting smashed?? Breaks my heart!

Hm, items eligible for Amazon Prime are usually (but not always) fulfilled by Amazon, so if there's a distinction, I would assume it would be the Amazon-fulfilled orders that would definitely apply the tax.
Sevfiv, your recent order was after 7/1?
Just ordered some Christmas gifts with the free shipping and to my surprise....zero tax. Not sure why, but I'll take it.

Here's an idea.
A new Reliant Arena isn't needed at all. The Dome could be the new Reliant Arena. And it could be larger or even smaller as well. Ever heard of the Saitama Super Arena?!? It uses movable seating sections which can change the seating capacity from as large as 37,000 seats to small as 9,000 seats. Use the floor for exhibition space as well. A true multipurpose convention & entertainment venue hosing a multitude of events.
Farmers and Flee markets too!
Question for the board. Looking to do a time lapse project of the city
