Transit Nut
This was posted in the Great Northwest folder, but since it also pertains to transportation, here is the link to METRO's announcement and schedule:http://www.ridemetro.org/217.pdfStarting Jan. 22, METRO will be using a parking lot on HP's former site near 290 and Skinner until their new parking garage is finished next door in the summer. I had a question for those who take a look at it. What is proposed for the rest of that space that is not labeled as 'retail' on the southwest part of the picture? It says 4-story element, and then there is more space around it. Do yall think that could be residential?

Parrothead
Ah yes, I see they did not put this through to the Med Center. Will they never learn? NO ONE WANTS TO TAKE THE TRAIN AS A SECOND COMMUTE!!! Idiots.

NO ONE WANTS TO TAKE THE TRAIN AS A SECOND COMMUTE!!! Idiots.Actually, Metro pushes the 298 commuter bus as the route to TMC. There is a large number of people that come from the 290 corridor (217/214/216) that use it.
Parrothead
We already take the 298 right now It would be nice to be able to have more of a choice around the city, esp with the fact that the TMC is the largest employer in the city, if not the state!
