Recommended Posts

This kind of stuff just doesn't happen in The Woodlands.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is investigating the weekend murder of a man at a Woodlands apartment.

Travis Michael Zielenski was found dead inside an residence at the Timber Mill Apartments in the 1400 block of Sawdust around 1:23 p.m. Sunday by deputies who were called there for a welfare check, authorities said.

Witnesses told deputies they saw a woman, in her late teens to early 20s and a man in his mid to late 20s, leave the apartment complex in the Zielenski's white 1999 Ford F150 with Texas license Plate 3GY-L84 on Saturday. The vehicle is also described as having an extension cab with big tires and a fire department sticker on rear window.

An autopsy has determined that Zielenski's death was not accidental or self-inflicted.

Anyone with information is asked to contacted the Sheriff's Office at 936-760-5800 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-392-7867.

Yeah, a murder in the apartments on Sawdust won't get people in The Woodlands talking. You could have 100 murders there every night and no one in The Woodlands would blink. Now the man found dead in his car in front of the Blockbuster Video deep inside The Woodlands a couple months ago...now that got people talking.
