I'm happy for Scott Crowe. He gets to open Krimmel; a brand-new school on F.M. 2920 & Alvin Klein Blvd.

But, I'll be sad to see him go. I think he's doing a great job at Hildebrandt and is well-liked by parents, students and staff. Good luck, Scott!

Another bit of Klein news:

"Last April, 2,518 Klein ISD students in the second grade took the SAT-10, a norm referenced assessment in reading, mathematics, language, and environment (science and social studies combined into one subject area). This assessment shows student achievement in relation to students across the United States.

From last year's administration of the SAT-10,

26% of the KISD students scored in the top 25% when compared nationally;

34% scored in the second quartile;

26% scored in the third quartile; and

14% scored in the last quartile."
