Unknown Buildings

Whos heard about any of these buildings that was once notified

Houston Tower--------6864 ft cancelled 1994

Block 265 Tower------1231 ft (never built)

Emerald Plaza (Fantasy Vision) 1200 ft

Campeau Tower------1083 ft (never built)

Four Houston Center--860 ft (never built)

Has the city offer to have a new high rise skyscraper to surpass th JP Morgan Chase Tower. There are more skyscrapers around the country building skyscrapers over 1000 ft high.

Blk 265 was to be the Bank of the Southwest.

Four Houston Center is now adjacent to The Shops At Houston Center.

Houston Tower; haven't a clue. Ive never heard of a mile+ super tall proposed for Houston.

Nope! :D That is a picture of the winning design out of many others for the Bank of the South West Tower. Block 265 is somewhere else.

It is easy to tell which ones are BSWT, because they are always rendered on the current surface lot behind 1 Shell Plaza. ;)

Block 265 had only one render I believe, which had a blue glass facade. There are some pictures on here that JMancuso posted in one of his "Unbuilt Houston" threads, in the "Historic Houston" subforum.

where is the Emerald Plaza proposed?? Would be a great addition to our skyline!!!

Please look before you ask, CALMSP. The author of the Emerald Plaza diagram, "Vaidas", assigned it the same status (fantasy) as a bunch of other glass curvy-or-crystalline-archetype supertalls that include "Vaidas Tower"
