cdollaz Posted April 18, 2006 Share Posted April 18, 2006 We will likely be leaving the city and heading down South before the year is out and quite frankly, there are so many neighborhoods to choose from it is overwhelming. However, using HAR one neighborhood that seems to have a bunch of houses that are right up our alley is Canyon Gate. Anyone live there/have any knowledge of that subdivision? joelpond10 Posted April 28, 2006 Share Posted April 28, 2006 Canyon Gate at the Brazos hasn't quite taken off like some expected it to and resale has been level. It's a nice subdivision but the HOA yearly fees are high and you can most likely get more for your money in the Greatwood or New Territory area. Only one section of Canyon Gate is Gated which, I have been told, is deceiving to a lot of people. The good thing about the area is that the homes are newer and the subdivision has some great amenities. As of right now, there are 37 homes for sale ranging from $139,000 to $275,000.
