mrfootball Posted March 2, 2006 Share Posted March 2, 2006 Northwest residential - 2/25/2006 (Cypress area) - Ersa Grae Corp. and Avanti Investment Advisors have purchased 1,450 acres west of Fry Road between FM 529 and U.S. 290 and plan to develop the land for builders to put up 3,500 single-family homes and shopping centers. The first phase of lots will be on the market in about two years, said Ali Ebrahimi of Ersa Grae. The property is adjacent to Blackhorse Golf Club and other residential communities like Cypress Creek Lakes, Canyon Lakes West and Bridgeland, a 10,000-acre master-planned community under development south of U.S. 290 near the proposed Grand Parkway. This is the second project for Ersa Grae and Winter Park, Fla.-based Avanti. The pair is developing Silver Ranch, a 500-acre residential community south of the Katy Freeway past the Katy Mills Mall that will have 1,300 homes when completed.[Houston Chronicle] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
