"The tower proposed by Dallas’ Validus Development Corp. would include 104 luxury residential units in 29 stories. Developers presented plans for the project – located at Hood and Brown streets near Fairmount – at this week’s Oak Lawn Committee meeting.

Units in the tower would average more than 2,200 square feet, with only four residences per floor. Parking would be in an underground garage, and a second-floor amenity area would include a swimming pool."

"The commission on Feb. 1 approved the developer's request for changes to development standards to increase the allowable floor area while limiting the number of units for the site to the proposed 104, a response to neighborhood concerns about density and traffic.

Recommendations from the commission are then voted on by Dallas City Council, although it wasn't immediately clear when that would happen in this case."
