As long as you are not expecting wonderful public schools, I think it is fine. I would think there would be some decent montessori type schools on the other side of 288. In my opinion you can't beat the value though for the amount of house and yard you can get in this area for the price. I think the trade off is the schools and no real grocery stores around.
