Dallasite
Who knows? It could be rather unique or a total bust.
TxDave
I remember reading about this development's initial announcement, and I have remained a little skeptical ever since, but I do give them credit for trying something different. We are very quick to criticize typical suburban development on these forums (although for good reason!), but these people are trying to create an alternative.Personally I don't think the "Disneyfied" duplication of historical locations will solve the problem of bland, generic subdivision sprawl; but I am glad to see developers that are willing to try something different.Only time will tell whether or not this concept will be successful. But regardless there will be lessons learned that will likely make things better in the future.
