This was deferred at the last Planning Commission meeting, the city hopes for more connecting roads but all possible places for a road are private undeveloped property.

This is back on the Planning Commission Plat website and will voted on at the Feb. 2nd meeting.

Planning Commission denied this proposed plat. They want a street (El Centro) that essentially would go nowhere and take up a good portion of the property for a street. For the street to do any good they would have to acquire multiple houses, part of a trailer park and several businesses to connect the street.

Well, that denial seems pretty chicken poopy of the Planning Commission. Running the fake street through the development cuts off a piece and makes it useless. I also like the comment that Janisch is 2400 feet wide. No, it's 2400 feet long, there's a difference.

435 Janisch Rd is the parcel address for this property (and subdivision plat Janisch Street Development).

The property is located in the Independence Heights area. It's situated between 421Janisch Rd and 613 Janisch Rd.

Behind the property is Yale Mobile Home Park (or Yale Street Manufactured Housing Community) at 4803 Yale St. And down the street is Dakota at Shepherd, an apartment complex at 4840 N Shepherd Dr.
