j_cuevas713
I find news like this very interesting. It's a very telling sign of how urban Houston is becoming.
goofy
I was there just the other day! It is a wonderful location and I hope there can be a favorable outcome for everyone involved. I hope we can get some traction on rapid transit and traffic calming/multi modal on main; it's too many lanes way too fast.

Even after it was common knowledge that the owners of the place had sold the property years ago. Those are the threads that sometimes make me despair for the future of this country. I have been known to call certain subdivisions "Stepford Pointe". Sadly, the people who live in those areas don't get the joke at all.

hindesky
Went down a rabbit hole and found this about District H housing projects in the pipeline. They are calling it "Las Brisas". https://www.houstontx.gov/council/h/affordable-housing/District-H-Housing-Applicants.pdf https://www.houstontx.gov/council/h/affordable-housing/Avenue-CDC-Las-Brisas.pdf Edited December 3, 2022 by hindesky
