There were plans for a retail project. IntheKnowHouston Posted December 16, 2022 Author Share Posted December 16, 2022 Yesterday, an Architectural Barriers Project filing for the Canary was submitted to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The forthcoming bar is under construction at 963 Judiway St in the Oak Forest area. According to the filing, the restaurant and bar will be 4,442 sf. This is a bar and restaurant under construction at 963 Judiway St. It is in the Oak Forest area. "Houston’s Garden Oaks-Oak Forest neighborhood will gain a new patio bar that will include access to a pool. According to an article Houston Chronicle published today, the "neighborhood bar and grill debuted over the weekend in the Oak Forest area." More from Houston Chronicle: They tore down the home under their contractor's advice and built a new two-story building, keeping the existing pool in the backyard. However, starting construction in 2020 meant there were delays in permitting that would set back the project...
