samagon Posted August 10, 2022 Share Posted August 10, 2022 https://www.houstonchronicle.com/news/houston-texas/transportation/article/Project-to-remake-part-of-Telephone-Road-into-17362305.php this project will extend from Lawndale to 610. particulars are that they are going for a more 'complete streets' kind of thing with pedestrian and bicycle friendly access, the article says planning/design is almost done and work should commence next year. it would have been nice had they extended all the way to Lockwood, and hopefully the people designing this haven't been working in a silo from Bike Houston, and it will correspond with the Houston Bike Plan for Telephone Road. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
