Edit: Jamil's, 9403 Buffalo Speedway, was renowned throughout the state for its thick, hickory grilled steaks, barbeque ribs and shishkabob. The original restaurant was established in Tulsa in 1948 by Jamail "Jim" Elias and followed by four other locations operated by his sons: Greg - Oklahoma City; Michael and Bernard - Dallas; Billy - Longview; and Tyrone - Houston.
