There are entity filings tied to Evening Entertainment Group (EEG), parent company of Bottled Blonde, dating back to May 2021. The entites are Backyard Houston LLC and BY Houston LLC, suggesting Backyard is the name of the business and Houston as the city. I'm assuming the plat name, Backyard Heights, means it's the area the business will be located. It's a big property. Looking forward to whatever designs they have in mind for the property. Maybe Houston will be a test market for the new concept before EEG expands it like Bottled Blonde. I haven't come across any articles or social media posts about it yet. I think Backyard will be a good addition to that stretch of W 20th St and 19th St in Shady Acres. According to a listing for Backyard in Houston on Google Maps, the Shady Acres location isn't the first for the concept. Backyard has two locations in north Texas. Backyard is a bar & grill in planning at 1400 W 20th St. Evening Entertainment Group is the team behind Backyard. The hospitality group also brought their Bottled Blonde concept to Houston a few years ago. BY Houston LLC, an entity connected to Evening Entertainment Group (Bottled Blonde), previously purchased the property in 2021. Plans for 1400 West 20th St included the build for a bar & grill named Backyard. I don't know if those plans are moving forward or not. BDT Enterprises TX, LLC owns several properties around town. Additionally, BDT Enterprises TX, LLC owns Moonshine Deck at 1239 W 19th St. The entity also purchased 1140 W 20th St in late 2021.
