trymahjong
I’ve watched this show since season 1. When I heard about this, I thought back to previous time Top Chef came to Texas— it was a bit odd. I had always thought an opportunity was missed for Top Chef to take advantage and gain from all the unique restaurants that used to make up lowerWestheimer. There was a time when most of my friends thought the best restaurants in all of Houston, were within walking distance of my house. We all questioned and debated why Top Chef didn’t setup a season to take advantage of that. Now after, Brian Caswels places all shuttered, Paul Qui’s fall from grace, Covid impact of closing down so many restaurants, Underbelly hospitality moving away……….I guess lower Westheimer impact will dwindled down to my least favorite category…..“what-if”?
