Basically, Houston is considering changes to the planning rules that would allow for more so-called “Missing Middle” housing to be built. (housing between the typical single family home and denser, multifamily apartment complexes). There is a survey online right now until August 16th that they are asking members of the public to complete. This appears to be planned to go before City Council in 2022.
