If parking is a concern for patrons, there are other transportation options. Houston METRO route 56 has stops at the intersection of Dallas St. and Montrose Blvd, a 2-3 minute walk. Routes 40 and 41 have bus stops one block away, less than a minute walk. Uber, Lyft, taxi services are other options. Hopefully bike parking will be installed in the future.
MrFubbles
This area is becoming pretty dense - hopefully the foot traffic can compensate for the lack of parking. If it doesn't now, maybe in the next 5ish years
hindesky
While taking pics at the Ismaili Center I heard about 8 Houston Fire Department trucks go by with sirens blaring. Shortly after they went by the sirens stopped so I flew around looking for smoke or an accident but saw nothing. Turns out there was a gas leak reported at the Harlow and they were there to stop it.

J Money
Does this mean that there's no immediate plan to redevelop that parking lot? I assumed they'd keep that lot separate if they planned to put an apartment complex or garage there.

It will occupy Nino's former space at 2817 W Dallas St / 2817 West Dallas St. The Landry-owned restaurant is in the River Oaks Shopping Center at 2002 W Gray St. But that location will close soon. As some may recall, Papercity mentioned the impending closure last year: La Griglia finally confirms its move from River Oaks Shopping Center to Harlow District. As mentioned earlier this year, Landry's Italian concept is moving into the former Nino's space at 2817 W Dallas St. CultureMap reports La Griglia's current location at 2002 W Gray St will close after its final service Saturday. The new location at Harlow District will open November 30. Below is more about La Griglia's new digs at Harlow District: Details on the new interior are light, and Landry’s declined CultureMap’s request for photos. According to a release, diners can expect marble and brass finishes and leather surfaces. Patrons will be able to choose to sit in the main dining room, a wine room, and an outdoor courtyard. https://houston.culturemap.com/news/restaurants-bars/la-griglia-restaurant-new-location-harlow-district-fertitta/
IntheKnowHouston
On 7/16/2022 at 5:21 AM, IntheKnowHouston said: In regards to Katami - the possible dining or nightlife concept that might replace Vincent's restaurant at 2701 W Dallas St - an entity filing offers a few clues. TKG Holdings registered the entity Vincent HTX LLC in May, listing local restaurateur Yun Cheng as manager. Cheng is the proprietor of hospitality company the Azuma Group (I think he's still involved the company). Restaurants operating under the hospitality company's umbrella include Izakaya, Kata Robata, and Soma Sushi. Upon first notice of Katami, I thought this could be a Japanese dining concept. Cheng's involvement seems to hint Katami may indeed be a Japanese restaurant. Hopefully, details will follow in the coming months. On 8/12/2022 at 5:02 AM, IntheKnowHouston said: The Kirby Group recently applied for an alcohol permit for one of several new food & beverage concepts of theirs on the horizon. A TABC notice confirms the post above regarding Katami taking over the Vincent's former building at 2701 W Dallas St. Katami will likely be a Japanese-focused concept in partnership with Azuma Group's Yun Cheng. On 1/10/2023 at 5:50 PM, hindesky said: Katami, a new restaurant from chef Manabu Horiuchi and Kata Robata owner Yun Cheng, is set to open in the spring in the former Vincent's space at 2701 W. Dallas. On 1/10/2023 at 5:56 PM, IntheKnowHouston said: First official news article regarding Katami by Houston Chronicle today. Katami is one of several food and beverage concepts planned for Harlow District at 2800 W Dallas St. As speculated last year, Katami is a new concept from Azuma Group, the hospitality team behind Kata Robata. Also, the article confirms previous speculations Katami replaces Vincent's restaurant at 2701 W Dallas St. Additional details from the article: "Kata Robata, considered one of the city’s finest and most consistent restaurants, will soon have a sister concept. "Katami, a new restaurant (whose name means 'gift' or 'keepsake' in Japanese) from chef Manabu Horiuchi and Kata Robata owner Yun Cheng, is set to open in the spring in the former Vincent’s space at 2701 W. Dallas." https://www.houstonchronicle.com/food-culture/restaurants-bars/article/New-Kata-Robata-restaurant-Katami-Montrose-Houston-17708491.php I think Katami opens to the public tomorrow. Dinner reservations for November 2 are available on Resy (or at least they were when I checked earlier this week). Katami is the latest dining concept from Houston's Azuma Group (Kata Robata, Azuma, and Josephine's). It joins Verde Garden at Harlow District. The Japanese restaurant is located in the space previously occupied by Vincent's at 2701 W Dallas St.
