Karbach released their latest Bourbon Barreled Hellfighter (#3). Its available at HEB if you can find it. I also saw it at Kroger on Studemont which has a very good beer department. I haven't tried it yet, sitting in my fridge waiting for the right night. But wanted to put it out there since it is a limited release.

Karbach Brewing Co. may be expanding once again.  After adding a two-story brewery and brewhouse next to its existing facility in 2015, Karbach seems to have more up its sleeves.

Between 2015 and 2020, county records show Karbach acquiring several properties surrounding their facilities. One of the biggest acquisition was the Mangum Center. The shopping center is located at 2021-2051 Mangum Rd.

There have been several plats / replats submitted combining Karbach's properties over the years: Giddy Up, Giddy Up replat no 1 & extension, and Giddy Up replat no 2 & extension. The most recent ones are Giddy Up Square partial replat no. 1 and Giddy Up replat no 2 and extension partial replat no 1.

I can't locate the Giddy Up replat no 2 and extension partial replat no 1. But below is the Giddy Up Square partial replat no. 1. The Giddy Up Square replat was one of several replats on the Planning Commission's December 2022 agenda.

I don't know how recent the below parcel map is (this is from Harris County Appraisal District's GIS map), but two parcels are outlined.

The parcel address for the biggest tract is 2026 Karbach St. Outlined in yellow, the parcel includes Karbach's facilities at 2032 Karbach St, an office building and warehouse at 2002 Karbach, and the Mangum Center at 2021-2051 Mangum Rd.

There is also a smaller parcel outlined in light blue: 2021 Mangum Rd (though I think this is combined with the larger plat in the most recent plat resubmission). A quick service retail pad is located on the parcel. It was previously home to Subway (2049 Mangum Rd).

In July, Eater Houston published an article about Karbach Brewing Co. adding two dining concepts at Mangum Center. The Mangum Center is located at 2021-2051 Mangum Rd.

A demo permit for 2049 Mangum Rd was issued in early December. Subway was located here. The building is situated in the parking lot of the Mangum Center at 2021-2051 Mangum Rd.

In February, an OCE plan review was submitted to the Office of the City Engineer for Karbach Brewing Co.'s forthcoming pizza restaurant. The plan was submitted by KT Ventures, and architecture and deign firm in Tomball.

Instead of 2021 Mangum Rd, the listed address for the project is 2037 Mangum Rd.

Also, the plan review seems to indicate the name of the restaurant is Love Street Pizzeria.

Karbach's pizzeria will be situated in Mangum Center, which the brewery purchased a few years ago. The retail center is located at 2021-2051 Mangum Rd.

Tomball-based KT Ventures has renderings of the forthcoming pizzeria and deli concept from Karbach Brewing Co.

KT Ventures is designing both restaurants. The eateries are planned for Mangum Center at 2021-2051 Mangum Rd. Karbach owns the property.

According to the OCE plan review posted above, the name of the pizzeria may be Love Street Pizzeria. As for the deli, the rendering seems to suggest the name could be Hopadeli.

Houston Permitting Center records show a building permit, health department permit, certificate of occupancy, and parking review for Karbach's pizzeria. The permits for Love Street Pizzeria are from February.

A HVAC permit was pulled earlier this week for Love Street Pizzeria.

Love Street Pizzeria is Karbach Brewing Co.'s latest dining concept. The standalone 4, 570 sf pizza restaurant is under construction at 2037 Mangum Rd. It's one of two dining concepts the brewery is opening in the Mangum Center at 2021-2051 Mangum Rd.

Apparently Mangum Center remains for now. 

The reason I didn't create a new topic for Mangum Center is the property is replatted with Karbach Brewing Co. Maybe there are bigger plans for the property down the road?

As previously mentioned, KT Ventures is designing two restaurants for Karbach Brewing Co. The eateries are planned for Mangum Center at 2021-2051 Mangum Rd, which Karbach owns.

One restaurant is a deli / sandwich shop possibly named Hopadeli. It's planned for 2021 Mangum Rd.

The other is a pizza restaurant possibly named Love Street Pizzeria. This has also been referred as Karbach Pizzeria and Karbach Brewing – Pizza and Pints. It will be located at 2037 Mangum Rd, according to permits.


Some time between May and July, KT Ventures uploaded the photos below to its website. The photos are for Karbach's forthcoming pizzeria.

A city master project plan for the Mangum Center at 2021-2051 Mangum Rd was submitted in late June. The plan pertains to parking area improvements. It was submitted by Martinez, Guy & Maybik, Inc. (MGM Inc).

The description refers to this as the Karbach Building at 2021-2051 Mangum Rd & 2049 Mangum Rd.

The project passed the Office of the City Engineer's preliminary review. However, the plans have not been approved for permitting yet.

There are recent signage permits for one of Karbach's latest dining concepts. Based on the permits, the name of one of the concepts is Pizza & Pints. It could also be Pizza and Pints or Karbach Pizza & Pints.

The address on the permit is 2021 Mangum Rd, which is for Karbach's  deli / sandwich concept. Karbach Deli and Hopadeli were previously listed names for the deli. However, the sign permits appears to indicate Karbach's pizza concept will be located there.

Permits for Karbach Pizzeria ( or Love Street Pizzeria ) list 2037 Mangum Rd. I don't know if this means the concept changed locations or the eateries will be combined. 

Regardless, there is an Instagram for Karbach Pizza & Pints. I think the account was created in the last few weeks. 

It's possible more details about the restaurant could be reported in the coming weeks.

• Plumbing Permit (included in the inspection status are the following note: gas test and utility release)

Based on previous permits, the name of the business opening at 2037 Mangum Rd is Pizza & Pints (could also be Pizza and Pints or Karbach Pizza & Pints.) The business is located in the Mangum Center at 2021-2051 Mangum Rd. Karbach Brewing Co. purchased the entire shopping center and other nearby properties.

Karbach Pizza & Pints (or Pizza & Pints) posted its first update to Instagram today. Karbach Brewing Co. officially announced its latest concept today, linking to the Instagram account for the restaurant.

The website for Pizza & Pints is also live.

As for an opening date, Karbach only notes it's opening this winter at 2032 Karbach St (though permits list the address as 2037 Mangum Rd) Whether that means December or in early 2024, I don't know.
