I’ve talked with Jim from Preservation Houston and he said Mayor Parker really helped give traction to our ordinance. Before 2010 it was extremely weak in protecting Houston’s older buildings. And if it every gets revised, how can it help property owners like the one who owns the Rouse Drug Store building on Main affordably restore their buildings?
