I know Kindred Hospital was having a hard time and closed a few locations. Maybe they put it up for sale but withdrew their plans? The Loopnet listing is no longer active but was listed as land value with the proposed use "hold for development". The old hospital is definitely out of place surrounded by the two HMH towers. I wonder why Houston Methodist Hospital does not buy it, to assume ownership, awaiting redevelopment. I wonder if this hospital is under the 100-year Texas Medical Center lease agreement?
