"Deborah is an icon of broadcasting & a true journalist Houstonians will always remember," News Director Rehan Aslam said in an internal memo obtained by mikemcguff.com. "We wanted to thank Deborah for her countless stories that made such an impact on thousands & thousands of people. She served our city & our communities with grace & professionalism."
