Memories Of Greenway Plaza

Wow that's an awesome photo. I would guess that's sometime between 1971 and 1975, as 3 Greenway is built and 5 Greenway is under construction. You can see they've excavated most of the basement under 3/5GW and the foundation for the towers is in place.

Any idea of when that picture was taken? The transformation from mostly low rise to mid to high rise over the years is pretty startling.

has to be winter of 72. Three GP is finished, that's 5 built to the third floor, it opened in 73. Plus, there are houses where The Summit was going to be built, that opened Nov 1, 1975. They broke ground in Dec 1973, so I assume the houses were demolished by then.

Can anyone help me with this? Didn't Kenneth Schnitzer build and develop GWP? So what's this about?

Goodman was the original planning architect. They were replaced, IIRC before anything was built.
