Highrise Tower
My mom went to Hawaii for a week. She sent me these pictures. She knew I like highrises so it was sort of a joke.
Ross
I wish I could find my pictures from Bangkok, where the scaffolding on high rise construction was all wood or bamboo lashed together. I guess it works, but it looked pretty scary.
mollusk
^^ Of course, the world over all of the major cathedrals, temples, tall viaducts, etc., etc. were built with some sort of plant based staging until ~150 years ago...

I remember that horrifying bamboo scaffold with little to no planking being all over Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. EDIT: I couldn't find the scaffold, but enjoy this OSHA-approved brick throwing line in KL. Edited March 16, 2020 by JBTX
Highrise Tower
My mom is currently in Turkey and texted me some photos of the local tower cranes. How cool!
