BeerNut
This seems like a huge buildout in a prominent location for a brewery's first foray.

Then it is our duty as citizens of this great metropolis to make sure it is a success - if the product is good. 😄

j_cuevas713
Any idea if the site will have parking? I'm hoping they take advantage of being downtown and not needing any.
staresatmaps
Of course they're are going to have parking. How am I supposed drive home after drinking at a bar if there is no parking? /s

IntheKnowHouston
Can mods merge the thread for Frost Town Brewing into this? This is the same brewery project from the same group as Industry Brewery. The owners changed the name to Frost Town last year. https://www.houstonarchitecture.com/haif/topic/46059-frost-town-brewing-at-100-n-jackson-st/

hindesky
Looking in the windows not sure they are going to open in June. Too bad because they are going to miss half the Astros season which could be a lot of their customers. The guy opening the Bad Astronaut Brewing said these guys are home brewers and it might be why it's taking so long to open.

crock
is the parking lot only accessible via N Jackson street? this place feels like it's going to get a lot of people lost in a very odd sliver of town. I guess they're just hoping that everyone that visits them is coming from St Arnolds?

I think the HOV lane will block it so they will have to do a U-turn on Ruiz St. and access it from Chenevert St.

I'd assume if you're wanting to park super close than it might be an issue. I see this place getting packed for those going to Stros games. Well, "could" use, or "could eventually use." I'm not sure if downtown is quite ready for one. But some days, it sure seems that way. From Google street view, this strip on the west side of the building appears to be the parking lot entrance.

They did a good job on the south and east side of the building/ landscape, but what is this 💀 either repave the parking or remove the random grass patches
