I'm not sure Farmstand on Heights is the name of the business or not. I'm unable to locate anything else pertaining to it. At the site is local restaurant Chatter's. In recent years, game room Offsuit opened in the back of Chatter's. Does anyone know if Chatter's open or planning to rebrand? It's located at 3720 Raymond St. It's located in the same building as either Darwin's or Chatters. According to the permits filed yesterday, Nadine's on Waugh is a bar. Chatter's closing soon at 140 S Heights Blvd. Occupancy permits purchased last fall indicate two concepts are planned for the space. One is Farmstand and the other is Nadine's. Both concepts are from Verdegreens, which is a billed as a "modern hydroponic farm." According to its website, Verdegreens specializes in "leafy greens, lettuces, microgreens, and culinary herbs." When news broke regarding La Grange closing in Montrose, Verdegreens announced it's launching a brick-and-mortar restaurant named Farmstand. I assume salads will be a big part of Farmstand's menu. Beyond that, I'm not sure. Maybe it will be similar to Local Foods? Perhaps further details will be shared in the coming weeks. As for Nadine's, I'm not sure what the concept will entail. However, as indicated in occupancy permits above, it will be located in the back of Farmstand at 3720 Raymond St. Below is a portion of the announcement from January: Verdegreens will be taking a break from offering our Farmstand salads for a while, but watch this space for some interesting developments: if you liked Farmstand Salads and prepared goods, you quite literally AIN’T SEEN NUTHIN YET. To be clear, it is closing for good. It is not relocating and it is not rebranding. The owners of Chatter's own the 140 S Heights property. They also own the parcels at 140 Heights Blvd (parcels behind 140 S Heights), 33 Waugh, and 27 Waugh (where Darwin's Pub is situated.) Verdegreens is leasing the restaurant space where Chatter's closing. That space will become Farmstand. The restaurant is not affiliated with Chatter's. The only connections to Chatter's Farmstand have are they occupy/occupied the same space at 140 S Heights Blvd and the property is owned by a co-owner of Chatter's. I'm still unclear where Verdegreens' bar concept Nadine's will go. I know it's will be located behind Farmstand but not sure where. I reached out to Verdegreens, Chatter's, and Darwin's Pub for specifics pertaining to Nadine's exact location, but have not received a response.
