HNathoo
This is the block on McKinney between Delano and Nagle. Yay for no parking minimums in Eado!
Sanjorade
So there’s a parking lot going in next to the bike trail? Am I missing something?

Not just a parking lot. That seems to be most, if not all, of the block in question. Seems absurd. Seems to be overkill for a parking lot intended for joggers and bikers on the trail to use. Only explanation that makes sense would be that the City is relocating one of its vehicle yards to this spot. Maybe Parking Enforcement? Their facility/lot on St. Emanuel will have to relocate due to the I-45 reroute.
Sanjorade
Very strange place for them to put this. Misuse of prime property 101.
HNathoo
The city owns the building across Delano from this site. I believe the intention is to utilize parking for that buildings operations.
Texasota
Disappointing. Do we know who uses the building - more specifically than "the City"?

thedistrict84
I still maintain that this is an incredibly disappointing use of this lot. With its proximity to the trail, it would have been a good spot for a small mixed-use development with GFR fronting the trail.
