1015 W 19th St in Shady Acres was purchased last year by 1015 West 19th, LLC. It's tied to Austin hospitality group Bear Hug Hospitality. The group operates a few bars in Houston, namely Handlebar and Unicorn Disco.

Bear Hug Hospitality is planning to open Beez Kneez at 1015 W 19th St. There is also a location in Austin.

@hindesky this is not located at 1025 19th St.

Also, there is an existing topic for this property under the property's correct address: 1015 W 19th St.

Back in July, I posted about the group behind Beez Kneez purchasing the Shady Acres property.

What Now Houston reported on the recent TDLR filing for Beez Kneez yesterday. Like most of their articles, there aren't further details beyond what's included in the filing.

From the article:

Owner Willie Stark, in a recent statement, expressed his anticipation for the grand opening, stating, “Nothing to report just yet. We have a Beez Kneez in Austin, and this is an expansion of that.”
