jermh
I've just herd Perkins + Will has acquired Kirksey Architecture. Has anyone else herd this rumor or have any information to validate it or invalidate it?
Glass Facade
Not sure if that would be a good thing...
jermh
I've asked around after posting here and I'm thinking it was just make-em-up. I now doubt there was any validity to the rumor. Mods feel free to delete if necessary.
Highrise Tower
Kirksey Architecture acquires House+Partners https://www.kirksey.com/insights/news-media/for-immediate-release/kirksey-architecture-acquires-house-partners Quote HOUSTON, TEXAS — Kirksey Architecture has acquired Houston-based architectural design firm, House+Partners Architecture & Planning, LLP, expanding their multifamily residential, senior living, and commercial office expertise and portfolios. The acquisition was finalized on October 1st and includes ongoing work with five significant residential development projects by Hines, which are under construction and total 1.5 million square feet. “Having House+Partners join Kirksey reinforces our multifamily residential and corporate office practices, and greatly expands our senior living portfolio. Their proven work on notable high-rise residential and corporate headquarters projects throughout the region better positions our firm and broadens our reach in these sectors,” says Kirksey President, Wes Good. Established in 1978, House+Partners has served a variety of clients in both the public and private sectors. Their high-profile multifamily projects complement Kirksey’s residential portfolio, which includes high-rise luxury condominiums such as The Wilshire, The Revere at River Oaks, and Belfiore, as well as apartment communities such as The Lofts at CityCentre.

Luminare
Seems like these latest moves is Kirksey Architecture's attempt diversify. Kirksey for the past 10 years leaned very heavily into Educational facilities both K-12 and Higher Ed. Either that market is cooling off, or they aren't getting the kind of projects to only lean on that particular industry.
