Meadows Place is a small city that is bordered by Houston, Sugar Land, and Stafford.

Meadows Place was originally called "Meadows". That conflicted with the name of another area, so in 1997 it was changed to "Meadows Place"

Meadows Place is in Fort Bend ISD (Meadows Elementary, Dulles Middle in Sugar Land, Dulles High in Sugar Land).

Does anyone else know anything about Meadows Place?

From the Handbook of Texas Online

MEADOWS, TEXAS. Meadows is located off U.S. Highway 59 in northeastern Fort Bend County, about twenty miles southwest of downtown Houston. The city began as the Meadows Municipal Utility District, which was established in 1967, and the first homes were constructed in 1968. In order to avoid annexation by Houston, Meadows incorporated on November 14, 1983. In the 1990s Meadows had a number of stores and a theater located in a large shopping center. In 1990 the population was 4,606.

Whatever you do, obey the speed limit anywhere in that area. Alot of older 70's built homes, not the nicest area to live in, bordering neighborhoods are what is bringing this place down. Not really a place to buy a home, unless it is a starter home for you. Not the best schools around, even though it is FBISD.
