Luminare
A new midrise apartment complex is proposed in the woodlands. This is not part of Hughes Landing which is why I've made a new thread. It is being developed by Howard Hughes Corp which is responsible for Hughes Landing. This doesn't have a name yet. Apparently its already broken ground. Developer: Howard Hughes Corp Architect: Shepley Bulfinch Estimated Complettion: Q4 2020 From HBJ (June 21, 2019): Quote The Howard Hughes Corp. (NYSE: HHC) broke ground on another multifamily project in The Woodlands on June 21, according to a press release. The seven-story, 179,338-square-foot project is on 1.67 acres at the southeast intersection of Six Pines Drive and Timberloch Place. Site work for the project began late last year, the Houston Business Journal reported at the time, but exact plans hadn't been finalized. Because it's located in The Woodlands Town Center, near The Woodlands Waterway, it's within walking distance to shopping, dining, retail, offices and entertainment, such as The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. The unnamed project will consist of 163 units averaging 1,100 square feet. There will be one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans plus townhomes with direct street access. Units will feature quartz countertops, simulated wood flooring, stainless appliances, walk-in closets, nine-foot-plus ceilings and washer and dryers. Automation technology will allow tenants to control door lock, thermostat and lights via smartphone or through Amazon’s Alexa voice control, per the release. Community amenities will include a clubroom, fitness center, third-floor amenity deck, outdoor cooking and bike storage. There will also be a coworking component of the project. Shepley Bulfinch is serving as the architect, and Hoar Construction is the construction manager. Both have Houston offices. The project is expected to be complete in the fourth quarter of 2020, joining six other Howard Hughes multifamily properties in The Woodlands and Bridgeland. Projects currently under development include Two Lakes Edge in The Woodlands and Lakeside Row in Bridgeland.
