august948 Posted March 6, 2019 Share Posted March 6, 2019 Prior to that, people either had to walk or take a horse to go anywhere so everything was closer than we're used to today. What I find interesting from this is that the residential development as of the late 1800's was mostly south of Buffalo Bayou. The Heights is at the end of a long, lonely stretch of track.
