I did not initially think so, but a little bit of digging proved that you are indeed correct. This article on the merger between Harold's and Norton Ditto states that Norton Ditto was founded as Barringer-Norton in 1908:

There is a reference in the Texas Railway Journal to the president of Barringer-Norton being a Mr. Court Norton:
