Or better yet this will be a new standalone brewpub. Cool find either way!

IntheKnowHouston
A restaurant centered on Uzbek cuisine is one of the dining options coming to the Crossing at Midtown, 606 Dennis St. I saw a recent entity filing for an eatery named Foreign Grill. I have no idea if this will be a food stall vendor at Conservatory's food hall or not.

According to Loe Ortega's LO Architecture, there will be either a brewery or brewpub component to the new Conservatory food hall in Midtown, 606 Dennis. Over the summer, LO Architecture uploaded buildout pics and design mock-ups to Instagram. The post also provided the following details: "Infrastructure may not be glamorous, but it is integral to food hall design. Texasota
Disagree on food courts, just because they're all Downtown. Midtown could use one. Midtown has multiple bar scenes that don't overlap much, so I'm not sure I think it's oversaturated. It could use some basic retail. Like a Target. Honestly another grocery store would be nice, especially now that Fiesta is gone. Nobody should have to shop at Randall's.

Either one would do crazy numbers, the montrose target and the lower heights/upper washington target both sometimes run out of baby wipes, some fruit and veggies, and cleaning products. Just crazy. I think this is a welcome addition to midtown. Right there by that chipotle and pho saigon, that area gets alot of foot traffic, this one should do fine. I'm not so sure about a Neighborhood Wal-Mart. A few years ago, Wal-Mart started closing those. It also had a bad habit of getting into "up and coming" neighborhoods by promising not to sell liquor. Then once the doors opened, applying for a liquor license. A CityTarget would be great. Put one in downtown, too. The CityTargets on Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis and State Street in Chicago both do a metric buttload of business, are assets to their neighborhoods, and help bring in high-rise residential developments.

At least with Whole Foods the quality might justify the additional expense, but Randall's manages to combine mediocre products and selection with significantly higher prices than, say, Kroger. Midtown has lost businesses that added to its livability (a dry cleaner, Art On Main art supply store), Sears, the fire clearance store) but offhand, I can't think of anything that doesn't involve prepared food or beverages that has taken their place.

I ordered in store for take home and didn't look inside or on the screen but I thought I ordered one slider medium heat and kale slaw.
