The Houston Chronicle mentioned Autry Park and other new mixed-uses a few days ago. Buried in the article is a new restaurant opening in the Autry Park mixed-use development named Auden.

Auden is from new hospitality group Nitecap Hospitality. Their Instagram doesn't have much to offer in details, but going off the food photos on the owners' Instas alone, this may be promising.

More details about Auden, a vegetable-forward restaurant opening at Autry Park, were reported towards the end of 2021. So, it's not the freshest of news, but I didn't see anyone make a post about it.

I think Nitecap Hospitality, the group behind Auden, is also involved with the bakery EaDough under construction in EaDo.

The chefs behind Japanese restaurants Kokoro (Bravery) and Handies Douzo in the Heights may have plans for a concept in the Autry Park mixed-use development.

Earlier this month, an entity was formed for Autry Park Sushi LLC. The entity is tied to the group involved with both of the aforementioned restaurants.

Other confirmed and unconfirmed retail tenants for Autry Park so far include:

• Annabelle's

• Turner's Cut

• Auden

• RH Rooftop Restaurant

• Lick Honest Ice Creams

I toured both Hanover Autry Park & Parkview yesterday. Leasing agents couldn't confirm Restoration Hardware and said they heard RH backed out (Idk if they both were told to say that or both heard the same rumor).

Assume Turner's Cut is the steakhouse they mentioned going at the base of the tower. Lick Honest going in the midrise. I'm sure it was mentioned here before... but the Hotel Tower will be a park until they break ground. Or the agent in the tower was just saying that because the westward view would be gone.

Both beautiful properties with amazing amenities. Except the midrise didn't have guest parking which I thought was strange. The street spots will go to the retail spaces as they fill up.

Would take it with a grain of salt. Most of the people outside of HAIF don't really keep their fingers on the pulse like we do or have the leaks. The Hotel could be breaking ground as soon as they open/lease the upper floors, RH could be in discussion, anything is possible.

Agreed, a grain of sale is appropriate.  Purely speculating here, but it doesn't seem all that likely that they would have bothered to get the TDLR permits prior to being committed to the project.

On top of the comments above, that irrigation they're putting down across from the tower is a bad sign for the (maybe not) Restoration Hardware building, right..?  Or am I misreading that activity?

Could be just a temporary delay, Methodist North campus did the same thing but permits have been released for the new construction.

What brand is the hotel going to be?

Another food and beverage related tenant for the Autry Park mixed-use is Lick.

Lick Honest Ice Creams is an Austin-based ice cream shop. This will be one of a few branches opening in Houston. Another is coming to Midway's East River development in the Fifth Ward area.

Last month, an entity for Lick Autry Park LLC was established.

Last week, Lick Honest Ice Creams confirmed a scoop shop is coming to Autry Park. It's slated to open in the fall.

ABC13 and the Houston Chronicle reported on a story about a carjacking at the Hanover Autry Park. Worker killed and the truck ran into the lobby of the building.

https://www.houstonchronicle.com/news/houston-texas/crime/article/Police-shoot-suspect-after-fatal-carjacking-17058133.php

"The attacker then crashed through the glass lobby of the high-rise apartment. A concierge took shelter in a back office. The attacker got back behind the wheel, Finner said, and crashed the truck into that office as well. "

Calling it now. If this development is successful, I see Hanover purchasing the Regent Square property and we'll see phase II and III over there. I'll miss the aesthetics that Regent Square was proposing but we should have had walkable mixed-use development in this area by now already.

Following up on this, Regent Square finally got moving after Hanover started Autry Park. I award this prediction 50 points.

Either Duo / Duo Coffee & Pilates is looking to lease, in negotiations, or has leased a unit at the Autry Park mixed-use development.

Duo is a local business that doubles as a coffee shop and pilates studio. Their Autry Park outpost will be their second location. The first is located in the River Oaks area at 2147 WestheimerRd, Ste A.

I frequent that place often for my morning cup. Like a 5 min walk from my place.

I was shopping at Restoration Hardware over the weekend and the lady said they are moving indeed and adding a restaurant so I guess that is still alive as well.

Rumor has it that they're building a new location in Highland Village. The Autry Park location is dead.

A huge addition for the area - I thought this latest development cycle had already ended, but I guess we’ll get another tower!

I went looking on SCB's website to find this project. They did one tower for Hanover in Uptown, but this one didn't appear to be there yet...

Glad to see this is public, a PR should be coming soon.  My understanding is the office component (~100k SF) is going on the former proposed 'RH' site across Buffalo Park Drive from Hanover AP. This and the new MF going up will be quite the construction site... The fencing around the central retail pods are coming down and the 'urban chic village' feel is really starting to take shape.

Incredibly impressive destination for Houston and can't wait for restaurant/retail tenants to get underway.

Is this that timber "boutique" office building that was announced a while back or is this a separate project?

Separate project. This will have a glass facade located along Allen Parkway.  Timber construction is still planned for the corner of W Dallas and Buffalo Park, as of now.

"The festival, which is partnering with the Houston Food Bank nonprofit, will take over Autry Park at Shepherd and Allen Parkway from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 2, pairing chefs like Top Chef: Houston finalist Evelyn Garcia, Aaron Bludorn of Bludorn, and Niki Vongthong, chef of Hidden Omakase, with farmers to further demonstrate what happens when there’s a focus on seasonal and sustainable food."
