Should be a great pedestrian experience when all of these places are open.

Below is an exterior rendering of Auden included in the Eater Houston article.

Auden is one of several restaurants opening in Autry Park. It will be located on the ground level of Hanover Parkview at 3737 Cogdell St, Suite 100.

In the portion pertaining to Auden, Eater Houston wrote this:

The 150-seat restaurant is a labor of love...and will feature floor-to-ceiling windows with prime views of Buffalo Bayou Park.

Auden is located in Hanover Parkview on the ground level. Where it's situated, the restaurant won't have prime views of Buffalo Bayou Park.

Here is the map of the Autry Park mixed use development. It shows where Auden is located.

Maybe there's a picture of the park on a wall inside the restaurant

Someone heard you because the text has been changed to:  The 150-seat restaurant will feature floor-to-ceiling windows and is slated to be on the ground-floor level with a patio area, offering plenty of people-watching opportunities.

@MidCenturyMoldy I noticed. There's also this update preceding the article:

Update, 8:45 a.m., May 24: This article has been updated to include the anticipated opening dates of the included restaurants, to the correct name of the restaurant Annabelle Brasserie, and note the accurate scenery around the restaurant Auden.

The chefs behind Japanese restaurants Kokoro (Bravery) and Handies Douzo in the Heights may have plans for a concept in the Autry Park mixed-use development.

Earlier this month, an entity was formed for Autry Park Sushi LLC. The entity is tied to the group involved with both of the aforementioned restaurants.

A filing for the sake and whiskey bar planned for Autry Park was submitted to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation yesterday. The name listed for the bar is AP Bar, though it's possible the name could change.

3737 Cogdell St, Suite 135 is the listed address. It's one of the ground floor retail at Hanover Parkview. According to the Autry Park retail map, it will be across from its sister restaurant Handies Douzo.

As previously posted, the tentatively-named cocktail bar is a new concept from the group behind Aiko, Handies Douzo, and Kokoro restaurants.

So, the name of the Autry Park sushi concept, the one from the team behind Handies Douzo and Kokoro, is Doko. It will be located on the ground floor of Hanover Parkview at 3737 Cogdell St, Suite 145.

And their cocktail bar (maybe a sake bar) is named Bar Doko. Also located at Hanover Parkview, Bar Doko's address is 3737 Cogdell St, Suite 135.

Duckstache Hospitality officially announced/confirmed two upcoming food & beverage concepts coming to Autry Park. The restaurant group is responsible for sushi restaurants Kokoro, Handies Douzo, Aiko, and Himari.

According to a Community Impact article yesterday, Doko "will seat 50 guests in a dining room area with room for another 12 at a bar that will offer sake-forward cocktails." Like Duckstache's other concepts, Doko will be a sushi-centric restaurant. It's one of the ground level retail at Hanover Parkview. The restaurant's address is 3737 Cogdell St, Suite 145.

As for the second concept, Community Impact reports Bar Doko is billed as an intimate Japanese cocktail bar. It "will provide 600-square-feet for a curated menu of Japanese-inspired cocktails." Bar Doko is also located at Hanover Parkview. The bar's address is 3737 Cogdell St, Suite 135.

As noted in previous posts, both concepts anticipate opening in the fall.

Houston Chronicle also published news about this a few days ago:

Autry Park Coming Soon

Opening January 2024

  • Mayahuel
High-energy modern Mexico City cantina and cocktail bar featuring street food and cantina classics from Michelin Star chefs

Mayahuel is possibly a new food & beverage concept from Culinary Khancepts. The hospitality group operates Star Cinema Grill, Liberty Kitchen, and State Fair. There's an entity for Mayahuel Autry Park tied to Culinary Khancepts.

Described as a "modern Mexico City cantina and cocktail bar," Mayahuel is one of two forthcoming dining concepts from Culinary Khancepts. Leo's, a fine dining companion to the River Oaks Theater, opens later this year at 2009 W Gray in the River Oaks Shopping Center.

Mayahuel is indeed a new concept from Houston's Culinary Khancepts.

In recent weeks, Mayahuel was included as one of several brands on the hospitality group's website.

The dining concept was described as a "modern Mexico City cantina and cocktail bar" in Autry Park promotions. However, the descriptor on Mayahuel's logo indicates it will offer upscale Mexican cuisine. On the beverage front, expect an agave-driven menu. Mayahuel, after all, is named for the Aztec goddess of agave plants.

Mayahuel is slated to open in early 2024 in the Autry Park mixed-use development. It's one of the ground floor retail in the Hanover Autry Park residence. The address for Mayahuel is 811 Buffalo Park Dr, Suite 130.

I've noticed in recent months, this forum has been using a "lazy load" feature where it delays loading the images.  This is presumably to reduce bandwidth, though with the images hosted off-site on imgur that doesn't really matter.  However, I have found that it's sometimes "super lazy" and doesn't load the images for a while, so what I usually do is open the page and go do something else while waiting for it to finish loading, which can sometimes take several minutes.  You might have to scroll down to that exact post with the image placeholders visible while you wait, to ensure it loads them.
