I don't care that the Rockets don't have Yao. Are we a better team with him? Yes. But most NBA Champs only have one superstar anyway. Look it. We've still got Tracy and he's playin well.

Charles just said the Rockets will lose tonight and that we haven't played anyone during our streak. I love Charles, but he's speakin like a dang fool!

The best teams we've beat during our 20 wins out of 21 games...

Spurs by 2

Blazers by 10

Warriors by 4

Cavs by 15

Blazers by 12

Cavs by 8

Hornets by 20

Nuggets by 14

Maybe you could leave out the Blazers and Cavs. Still, he's speakin like a fool. It's possible that the Rox lose tonight. Better teams sometimes lose to worse teams. I hope we win though so we can shut everyone up.

Don't you ever get tired of being wrong, 214to713? You better be glad the internet is anonymous or you would have to wear a paper bag over your head 27/7. You have such a severe case of asshole-ism, it isn't even funny. Well, maybe a little funny.:P:lol:

I'm really glad we won. But was it just me, or was that game really boring?

I'm glad we shut Charles up, too.

And Rafer is playing OUT OF HIS MIND. I can't believe this is the same guy. This guy needs to take off the mask and reveal who he really is. wow

One thing that did kind of scare me is the impact Dampier had. Hopefully we won't have to face Shaq in the playoffs, but if we're gonna get to the finals, I'm willing to bet we're going we'll have to face Duncan. And not only him, but Ginobli is goin off too.

I think we can do it, but it'll be tough.

You were saying?

:D We didn't have Dirk. What did you expect? :D Seriously, though, I didn't really believe the Mavericks would win. They're not playing very good right now. The Rockets however are on a roll. Better hope they aren't showing they're playoff muscle too soon. The second season is a little different than the regular season.

Dirk is always soft against the Rockets. When we get up in his grill, he can't make shots. I'm not too worried about him.

It is true the Mavs have owned us for a while. But last night's game was awesome... I'm loving the up-tempo play sans Yao Ming (of course I wish we still had Yao though).

Landry/Scola are just awesome players... they are making Morey look as brilliant as everyone thinks he is...

Whoever wins the Western Conference Championship this year will be flat out lucky. No matter who it is, they will have to run a gauntlet of the best teams in the NBA. If the playoffs started today, the Lakers would have to beat the Mavs, New Orleans and San Antonio. The Spurs would have to beat Golden State, Utah or Houston, and the Lakers. Houston would have to go through Utah, SA and the Lakers.

While any of these teams is good enough to do it, to predict it is nothing more than a guess.

Question.

Would you rather lose tomorrow nights game and win vs. the Lakers on Sunday, or Win tomorrow nights game to stretch the streak to 21 and lose to the Lakers?

As of now we're tied for 2nd longest. We win tomorrow, we're by ourself. A win Sunday brings more credibility.

My greed wants us to win 21 to have sole possession of the 2nd longest streak in history. But my mind says we need to beat the Lakers so that we can pick up a full game in the standings.

Gotta love Deke in the Daily Dime on ESPN.com this morning:

"The Rockets have won 20 games straight. All the critics can kiss my black ass."

The streak will probably end on Sunday. I hope not, but more than likely. Remember, that after Friday, the Rockets play the Lakers, Celtics, Hornets, Warriors and Suns. This could determine where our seeding is. There is only like 3-4 games separating 1st thru 8th seed. A two to three game losing streak can mean the end of a season.

It would be a GREAT night if the Rockets win against Bobcats, Lakers lose at Hornets, Spurs lose at 76ers, and Utah loses at Celtics. This is a very likely scenario!!

will you read my palm? haha, jk

Did yall see that finger sign? That has to be the greatest sign of all time. It was hilarious.

Another funny one was someone had 21-0 written, but the zero was made of donunts and told barkley it was for him.

Well, the Hornets beat the Lakers, Utah beat Boston, Detroit beat San Antonio. The Rockets are now tied for 1st place. Also, the Lakers lost Pau Gasol to injury, David West of New Orleans (an All-Star this year) re-injuries is right ankle, and Ray Allen of Boston does the same.

Look at Rockets.com:

Good thing you pointed out about those injuries. Hopefully, it evens out when those teams play us in the upcoming games. As far as the Rockets, it would be nice to see Landry back.

Not to steal the thunder of No. 22, but!!....

I did not know Gene Peterson and Jim Foley were retiring after this season!? I just found out. Did yall know about this already? Man, I'm gonna miss them.

It's good to have them excited again. Back in the early 00's, it sometimes sounded like they were calling the Comets games or something, cuz they weren't showing much excitment in their voice. The past couple years though, the excitment is back in their voices.

Today's game was awesome... good to see the guys get it done with McGrady playing like total crap. When is Landry gonna comeback from the knee injury/I wonder if it was worse than they were letting on?

I know, but I hope not. He really provides us with some punch. He has an underrated J, too.

And I don't really think we needed this win to gain respect of the national media. Maybe some of the talking heads on espn still got their heads up their butts, but most of the real media, the real journalists who write articles and actually do their research, have shown plenty of respect.

I think Landry's injury is much more serious. Swelling of the knee shouldn't take over a week or so to heal. Something is up.

They are just resting it. It hasn't swelled more, just has not gone down like they have wanted. He will probably be back against the Celtics on Tuesday.

Yeah, the win was beautiful. I'll be at the game on Tuesday.

Cool, me too. I'll be in the Lanier suite, wherever that is.

"Why is everyone doing the quote sign here?" Is what I heard from son #1 at the game today.

haha, that's funny. Dikembe was doing that a lot.

It irritates me when Laker fans and the national media whine about not having Gasol for the game. Injuries are a part of the sport and it's the really great teams that compensate for injuries and keep on winning despite them. The Rockets have had more then their share of injuries this season and even during this streak, yet here they are with the best record in the West and the second longest streak in NBA history. No one can predict how they will do in playoffs or for that matter any other team.

Fact: The Rockets are the hottest team in the NBA right now and they are an exciting team to watch.

Cool. I'll be wearing my throwback McGrady jersey. I'm thinkin about wearing my Rocket shoes too. They kind of look like clown shoes cuz my feet are so big and they're shiney, but I like 'em, and with the way their goin now, nobody will make fun of me :)

I have no idea what I will wear. I might go out and buy a McGrady or Battier replica. I have seen some Rockets shoes at their online store. Looked nice, but my J's look better ;) .

Got mine at Marshalls few years back for about 20 bucks

ah you didn't have money to get a seat so you'll be watching it on tv with the cleaning staff in the bowels of the building.

let's hope he's won enough cases to keep us out of there.
